The 2025 First Edition Literary Gala will be Friday, November 7 at the Fairmont Austin. The Gala is a black-tie cocktail reception and dinner celebrating books and reading and featuring conversations with award-winning authors.
Texas Book Festival’s primary fundraiser, the Gala provides crucial funding to keep our annual Festival free to the public each year, bring author visits and book donations to students in Title I Texas schools through our Reading Rock Stars and Real Reads literacy programs, and enhance the work of public libraries with our Texas Public Library Grants.
