National Book Foundation Presents: Epistolaries and Epigraphs

The National Book Foundation joins us in Austin to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Texas Book Festival ahead of the 76th National Book Awards, scheduled for Wednesday, November 19. Hear from 2025 National Book Award Finalist Tiana Clark (Scorched Earth, Poetry) and 2022 National Book Award Finalist Alejandro Varela (The Town of Babylon, Fiction; and most recently, Middle Spoon) as they read from their new books and discuss queering conventions — in form, in narrative, and in love — with moderator Natalie Green, Director of Programs & Partnerships at the National Book Foundation.
