Studies show that reading for fun in childhood is linked to better academic and social-emotional outcomes. Join a panel of all-stars, each with unique insight, moderated by Texas State professor Dr. Sharon O'Neal. Librarian, educator, and author John Schu, Louder Than Hunger; educator and author Nicholas Solis, The Littlest Grito; and speech pathologist and author Kari Lavelle, Butt or Face? Volume 2: Revenge of the Butts, will discuss how to inspire a love of reading in kids of all ages, from reading picture books aloud to encouraging emerging readers to tackle chapter books and beyond!
