Ready, readers? The Texas Book Festival returns to downtown Austin for its 31st annual event on November 14–15, 2026! Texas Book Festival is the largest book event in Texas and one of the foremost literary celebrations in the country. Attendees can expect an all-star author lineup, programming for all ages in English and Spanish, book signings, cooking demonstrations, family and teen-focused activities, hundreds of exhibitors, food trucks, a Saturday night Lit Crawl, and more. The event remains free and open to the public. We will begin reviewing 2026 books in the new year and our submissions portal will open in early January. The featured author lineup will be unveiled in early fall 2026.
