Sergio Martínez-Beltrán (SARE-he-oh mar-TEE-nez bel-TRAHN) is a national correspondent covering immigration for NPR. His work focuses on the impact federal policies have on migrant communities in the U.S. and along the U.S.-Mexico border. Sergio’s work has appeared on Bridge Michigan, San Antonio Express-News, BBC, El Nuevo Día (Puerto Rico), Nashville Public Radio, and Standard-Examiner (Utah). He is from Carolina, Puerto Rico and a proud graduate of Michigan State University.
