Born and raised in Mexico City, Liliana Valenzuela is the author of the poetry collections Codex of Love: Bendita Ternura and Codex of Journeys: Bendito Camino. She is also the Spanish language translator of works by Sandra Cisneros, Julia Alvarez, Denise Chávez, Cristina García, and many other writers. She’s currently at work on a memoir.
