Kat Fajardo (she/they) is a Honduran Colombian award-winning cartoonist and illustrator known for their work on self-acceptance and Latine culture. Their debut graphic novel, Miss Quinces, was a National Indie Bestseller, Pura Belpré Honor recipient, and part of the Spirit of Texas (SPOT) Reading Program. It was also the first Graphix title published simultaneously in English and Spanish. When she’s not working on chapter book art, book covers, or graphic novels, you can find her looking for cool bugs or collecting items for junk journaling.
