Gigi Edwards Bryant is the Chair of the Texas Book Festival. She has served on the board since 2014. Rooted in faith and a deep commitment to supporting families and children with a focus on critical issues like education, the foster care system, and recovery from substance abuse, she embodies the belief that all doors open when we become active learners. Gigi founded the Write to Me Foundation in 2002, which focuses on providing rite of passage experiences to children and young adults. Gigi is a fifth generation Austinite. She completed Austin Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Management, a Business degree from Saint Edward’s University, an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a Certificate of Ministry from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
