Corrie MacLaggan is the statewide managing editor of The Texas Newsroom, the collaboration among NPR and the public radio stations in the state. The Texas Newsroom includes KUT in Austin, KERA in North Texas, Houston Public Media and Texas Public Radio in San Antonio. Corrie is based in Austin. Previously, she was managing editor of The Texas Tribune and served as a national correspondent for Reuters. In addition, she worked as a reporter and editor in Mexico City and has traveled throughout Latin America. To unwind from the news, Corrie enjoys cooking for her family and friends. She is obsessed with cookbooks.
