Dr. Adriana Pacheco is Affiliate Research Fellow at Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies (LLILAS), University of Texas Austin and founder and producer of Hablemos Escritoras Podcast and encyclopedia. She holds a PhD in Iberian and Latin American Literatures and Cultures at the University of Texas Austin. She sits at the Texas Book Board of Directors and was member and former Chair at the International Board of Advisors at University of Texas Austin. A Texas Book Festival Featured Author (2012), she has several publications in international magazines and has edited critical books and documentaries to promote literacy and the work of women writers. She was born in Puebla, Mexico and is a naturalized American Citizen.
