Annie Tate is a born and raised Austinite. She attended Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts where she studied sculpture and analog filmmaking. After college she moved back to Austin. She works as a bookseller at First Light Books where she runs the Small and Indie Book Club, highlighting books from independent presses. Annie Tate also serves as Treasurer on the Host Publications Board of Directors. She lives in Hyde Park with her husband and their chihuahua, Hartsel.
