2021 Texas Poet Laureate Cyrus Cassells is the author of eleven books of poetry and two award-winning books of translations. Among his honors: a Guggenheim fellowship, two NEA grants, and a Lambda Literary award. He is a Regents’ and University Distinguished Professor of English at Texas State University.
