Bethany Hegedus

A former educator and award-winning author, Bethany Hegedus is an in-demand keynote speaker and authority on both children’s literature and creativity. In 2025 alone, three new books will debut: Batter Up for the First Day of School (Viking/PRH), Yours, Mine, Ours: A Celebration of Service and Community, with co-author Arun Gandhi, grandson of the Mahatma, and No Bad Parts with co-author Dick Schwartz, world-renowned creator of the Internal Family Systems model of therapy. Bethany is the Founder and Creative Director of The Writing Barn, a global online writing craft and creative community. She lives and writes in Austin, Texas.
