Ever wonder how a book becomes a movie? Hear from a trio of Festival authors whose books have been adapted for film/television. May Cobb’s book The Hunting Wives will soon be a Starz original series, set to debut in 2025. Rumaan Alam’s book Leave the World Behind was adapted into a movie starring Academy Award winning-actors Julia Roberts and Mahershala Ali in 2023, and Ernest Cline’s #1 New York Times bestseller Ready Player One was adapted for the big screen in 2018 and directed by Steven Spielberg.
