Join Katherine Center, “the reigning queen of comfort reads” and Hannah Brown, Bachelorette fan-favorite turned novelist, for a conversation about the modern romance novel and why we love a good romance trope. Center’s most recent novel, The Rom-Commers, follows Emma Wheeler after she begrudgingly agrees to help an action film screenwriter rewrite his first (disastrous) romantic comedy. Brown’s debut novel, Mistakes We Never Made, centers on Emma Townsend who embarks on a road trip with her long-time handsome frenemy, Finn, to track down a runaway bride. Sparks fly in these charming takes on enemies to lovers, forced proximity, second chance romance and unrequited love.
