2024 Texas Writer Award Presentation
Join us to honor Naomi Shihab Nye, the 2024 recipient of the annual Texas Writer Award! Each year, the Texas Book Festival presents the Texas Writer Award to an esteemed writer in recognition of outstanding contributions to Texas literature. Shihab Nye is an award-winning poet and author and was named the Young People's Poet Laureate for the U.S. by the Poetry Foundation in 2019.
