Adriana Pacheco, PhD is Affiliate Research Fellow at Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies (LLILAS), University of Texas Austin and founder and producer of the Hablemos Escritoras Podcast and encyclopedia. She holds a PhD in Iberian and Latin American Literatures and Cultures at the University of Texas Austin. She was member and former Chair at the International Board of Advisors at University of Texas Austin and sits on the Texas Book Festival Advisory Board. A former Texas Book Festival Featured Author (2012), she has several publications in international magazines and has edited critical books and documentaries to promote literacy and the work of women writers. She was born in Puebla, Mexico and is a naturalized American Citizen.
